I’ve been using the Body Shop’s Lip Scuff product lately to combat the dry winter weather with positive results, so I wanted to try their other lip treatment product – Lip Care.

"A unique blend of moisturizing and conditioning ingredients that helps take care of your lips, while adding a subtle hint of clear shine. Dermatologically tested."

To Purr About:
- no scent/taste/hue/colour
- doesn’t irritate my super sensitive and allergy-prone lips
- leaves my lips feeling so moisturized and in great condition
- isn’t greasy
- leaves my lips looking shiny and healthy

Claws Out:
- no SPF protection

Final Comments:
It was quite hard for me to even get my hands on this product – I had to go to about 4 different Body Shops as they were always sold out. I guess that’s a good sign that it’s quite a popular product.

I am in love with this product. It feels absolutely amazing on my lips. It is so smooth and silky and makes my lips feel amazing when I put it on. I haven’t had any chapped lips or peeling lips since I started using this product. I only wish this product had a hint of colour and/or SPF in it, but then I guess it might not be so amazingly good if it did.

For a lip conditioning product I think it is very effective and will probably keep using it, even though it is pricier than other lip conditioning products found at the local grocery store.

- did not irritate or dry out my super sensitive skin

Final Comments:
As I mentioned previously, I like to change products every so often to keep things lively. I decided to try Biore’s skin cleanser as I am currently using their night moisturizer (Moonlighting Moisturizer) and their daily moisturizer (Dual Fusion).

After using this cleanser for a while I have to say that I did enjoy the ease of using it. It glided nicely over my skin and just a little went a long way. This gel cleanser left my skin feeling nice and clean and refreshed.

Product Review: s’stains Long-lasting Satin Lip Shines

Winter is here and that usually means dry lips for me, but I still yearn for beautiful glossy looking lips, so once again I am on the search for new products that will give me colour and moisture.

From A Beautiful Life’s website: "S'stains are 100% natural, paraben-and petrochemical-free satin-y lip glosses. Each color is packed with natural lip conditioners, like shea butter, vitamin E and the near-miraculous argan oil! It also packs a pleasantly plumping trio of essential oils (cassia, peppermint, and ginger) - just enough to smooth fine lines and give you the perfect pout without stinging (ouchies!)"

To Purr About:
- available in 4 versatile shades
- glides on effortlessly
- does not dry out my lips or irritate them
- very light feeling – not sticky or heavy
- pleasant peppermint scent
- leaves my lips looking glassy and shiny

Claws Out:
- doesn't stay on very long
- a bit hard to control the application of (tube did not promote consistent flow)

Final Comments:
This is the first lip stain product I’ve ever tried.

I was a bit shocked when I first applied this product on my lips and smelt/tasted the peppermint. I really enjoyed how light and airy this lip stain felt. It wasn’t overly sticky or heavy which I find some lip glosses. The shade was fun and flirty and a little of the lip stain went a long way in giving my lips colour.

My only complaints were that this product didn’t stay on as long as I would like which made re-application often necessary, and also that the consistency (lightness) made it a bit hard to apply this product evenly – which is no problem when you have a mirror handy.

MAC Colour Forecast

Hmmm, looks like MAC has made their predictions for what's going to be hot this Spring and it's going to be PINK, CORAL, PLUM and AMBER.
