April is Earth Month, and I was asked to celebrate it by listing my favourite EcoTools products. Easy peasy, I thought, as this was a brand that I really liked and didn't have a problem sharing with my readers.
EcoTools has been around for only two years, but already, the company has grown very quickly. Its success includes:
- Member of 1% For the Planet and donor to EarthShare
- Partnership with Alicia Silverstone to create the ecoTOOLS by Alicia Silverstone cosmetic bag collection
- Collaboration with celebrity makeup artist Meredith Baraf to create four instructional makeup videos
- Launched over 15 new products in the past year
- Winner of Ideal Bite's 2008 "Best in Green Award"
- Chosen as one of InStyle Magazine's 2009 Best Beauty Buys
- Winner of PETA's 2009 Proggy Award for Best Cruelty-free Brushes
- Winner of VegNews Magazine's 2009 Best of Show Award
Once you've tried EcoTools brushes, it's easy to see why they're a favourite of many beauty fans. Nothing in the collection costs over $19.99 USD and every piece is eco-friendly.
I had to think about this for a bit because I haven't tried an ecoTool product I didn't like, but here are my top three favourite EcoTools products (in no particular order):
- Blooming Planet body mist
I love carrying this body mist around during the hot summer months and it's also useful when travelling for a quick "pick-me-up". It has a nice, light refreshing scent.
- Bamboo 6 Piece Eye Brush Set
This little set is great to travel with. It has all the brushes I need to do my eye makeup and the carrying case and built-in mirror are perfect for tossing into my luggage and taking with me.
- Bamboo Bronzer Brush
I must confess - I use this brush for more than just brozner. I LOVE how thick and lush this brush is and the bristles are super soft.

Love ecotools as well, that bronzer brush is one of my faves, and the blush brush too, retractable kabuki wasn't so great.
I just followed your blog from SC, please follow mine too :)
