I rarely post twice in one day, but this is too good to wait another minute to tell you about!
For those of you that read about my bank-busting cosmetic haul at the last invitation-only Estee Lauder/MAC warehouse sale in Toronto (see this post from this past June for details of what I bought and how much I spent) cringe along with me when I announce that there's another sale coming up next month!
Yes, readers, it's happening all over again September 7, 8 and 9. Oooh, I'm still debating whether or not to go, but for those of you who salivated over the deals you've heard about at this sale, sorry, it's invitation-only again and limited to those 16 and older. There's a whole bunch of other rules, but if you have the invitation, you'll know all the rules.
Invitations are pretty hard to get, so good luck for those looking!

Hi shegufta -
The invites to the Estee Lauder sale are hard to get in any city, generally they're given to employees and business partners, etc. I usually see some floating around on eBay or Craigslist, although you're not supposed to sell the tickets.
Once in a rare while I'll get extra tickets to the ones in Toronto and give them away free to my readers (I just finished a big raffle for the September sale), so if you live in the GTA, then definitely keep an eye out on this blog!

Thanks so much CK.
Will do and if you by any chance have an extra one let me know any time.
Cheers

What if you have tickets but are younger than the age limit?
Janice,
Sorry, I have no idea how strict they are on the age limit. I don't work for Estee Lauder or any of their associated companies so I don't know what their policy is!

The best place would be your local animal shelter.
Also, you might want to consider adopting an adult rather than a kitten.
When someone goes into a shelter they’re always drawn to the kittens and the older cats are ignored.
Most shelters have a time limit on how long they are able to keep a cat before they are put down.
Hundreds if not thousands of adult cats are put down everyday because the kittens are adopted first.
Getting a cat will not only give your daughter a pet, but it will be saving a life.
