Product Review: RoC Complete Lift Overnight Regenerating Cream

Reviewer: Cinnamon Kitten

Brand: RoC
Name: : Complete Lift Overnight Regenerating Cream Size: 50 ml
Price: $40 CAD

"A powerful, moisturizing formula that works to recapture skin's youthful, firmer look during sleep by working so that skin appears more lifted, more contoured...clinically shown to improve skin's firmness and elasticity, promoting visibly lifted and refined facial contours." (from the press release)

I recently finished the current night cream I was using, so I decided to try RoC's next. Now that I'm firmly in my early 30s, I definitely think it's time to start taking preventive action!

I had never tried any RoC products before this, although I've heard good things about them, so this was a good first introduction to the brand.

To Purr About:
- cream is nice and thick, but not greasy
- goes on easily and absorbs quickly
- leaves a light, pleasant fragrance
- skin feels instantly moisturized

Claws Out:
- a little more expensive than most night creams that I've been using

Final Comments:
Night creams are generally heavier than day creams, which I don't mind, since I'm not wearing any makeup or anything else after I've applied my night cream. I found the RoC night cream to be just as thick as most other night creams I've tried, however, it felt light going on and didn't take much rubbing to absorb quickly into my skin. It left a really nice, light scent.

The one thing I did notice right away is that many night creams (because they're so thick) often feel sticky or greasy for a while after application, but then once absorbed, I don't notice it anymore. With the RoC one, it absorbed almost immediately, with no greasiness or stickiness, but about an hour afterwards, my face still felt "plump" with moisture, as if I had just applied the cream.

I have noticed that my face isn't as dry in the mornings since I've started using this night cream. I'm not sure about the "youthful looking" aspect, but I definitely see a difference in my face moisture level, and that's good enough to convince me that this night cream is different than the others I've tried.

I thought that this cream is for women over 50 with oily skin. The reason I say this is because it has no anti wrinkle effects, which means that it is targeted to oily skin that doesnt wrinkle so much, as it sags. And for skin to sag , you have to go past menopause ... But if it works for you, thats good! can you let us know in a month time if there is a difference?
