Reviewer: Cinnamon Kitten
Brand: Hana Salon
Name: Flat Iron
Size: 1"
Approx. Price: $99 USD
This Hana ceramic flat iron features:
- Tourmaline Ceramic Plates for accelerated ion generation
- floating 1” plates auto-adjust
- adjustable temperature dial - 5 settings from 140-450° F for all hair types
- ergonomic handle design with no-slip grip
- tangle-free salon quality cord swivels 360 degrees
- energy efficient at 38 watts
- independent on/off switch
And it comes with a heat-proof storage pouch, a heat-proof silicone mat and a special edition tin case.
To Purr About:
- heats up really quickly
- 1" width is a great size to have, as it's pretty versatile. I have super-straight, thick hair and can create waves and/or curls in less than 15 minutes
- extra long cord on the 360 degree swivel really means that you never have any cord issues, which I really like
- I appreciate the "floating" plates. Hana recommends different temperatures for different hair types, which makes a lot of sense. I have really thick, coarse hair so I would need a hotter setting than someone with really thin, fine hair.

- temperature dial is easy to read and use
Claws Out:
- none really
Final Comments:
I love this flat iron because its small size and swivel cord make it really easy to handle and use. The floating plates are pretty cool (although they don't move as much as you would think) and the various temperature settings is also really useful.
Our friends at Misikko.com are having a sale on this flat iron right now - you can get one of your own for just $89 USD and yes, they do ship to Canada!). You can check out the Hana flat iron on the Misikko site here.
