I was first introduced to Bath & Body Works by a good friend, who would rave about the great products and amazing deals they had at this store in the US, but I had never been to one myself until last year. When I first stepped into a B&BW I went crazy! Everything smelled so good and of course, who can resist those pump-bottle soaps at 5 for $15 USD???
I was super excited to read that B&BW is going to open stores in Canada!!!
Limited Brands Inc., the company that owns B&BW has unveiled the locations for six Canadian B&BW stores set to open this fall.
Three of the stories will be in the GTA: at Yorkdale, Fairview and Erin Mills Town Centre. The other locations include Stone Road mall in Guelph, Whiteoaks in London and the West Edmonton Mall.

Wow thats great news for us in the GTA. Yorkday, Fairview, and West Ed I can understand. Erin Mills okay I can sort of see. But Guelph and London?
I agree Pam, however, I do know that Guelph and London are tradionally huge "test" markets in Canada. A lot of new stores/products are always tested in those 2 places first and then launched into bigger cities. Not sure why though!
But none for BC :(
I'm very excited that it's coming to Guelph. I'm from Kitchener and I hate having to drive all the way to Toronto for certain stores/brands. It's great that they're not just keeping it exclusive to one large/major area (GTA). Just because we live in smaller cities, doesn't mean we don't like to shop :p
I am amazingly happy!! I drive to B and B Works in Buffalo(a 3 hour drive)every 3 months!! To know that they are coming to Guelph and I only have to drive 30 min is fantastic! I am soooooo excited!!
I didn't know about Guelph being a 'test market', but I can tell you,the population here is growing quickly, and it is a pretty upscale city. It is a university town as well, so I have no doubt Bath and Body works will do extremely well here. I'm glad they're not only opening in the larger cities.
I also just heard it is opening today or tomorrow, so I will certainly be there shopping till I drop, lol!
