Contest: George's Skincare

Canadians! Have I got a contest for you! I recently received some George's Skincare products to try out (full reviews coming very soon) but since winter is upon us, I didn't want to wait to launch this awesome contest to help save some Canadian skin!

George's is a Canadian success story (we love those). George himself has some interesting stories about how he initially decided to develop a non-prescription cream to help combat severe dry skin for some of his local customers at his pharmacy in Calgary. Using his wife's cake mixer (yikes!) and working on formula after formula in his kitchen - the ultimate result was the popular George's Special Dry Skin Cream.

Prize (value $35 CAD):
A George's Cream gift bag which includes
- George's Cream Special Dry Skin Cream, 450 g jar
- George's Cream Special Dry Skin Cream, 30 ml tube
- George's Light Special Moisturizing Lotion, 360 ml bottle
- George's Light Special Moisturizing Lotion, 30 ml tube

To enter:
- 1 entry: Comment below on how the winter is affecting your skint. Don't forget to leave an email address where I can reach you if you win!
- 1 entry: "Like" the George's Cream Facebook page.

Notes:
- The contest is open to Canada only.
- Contest ends Wednesday, February 1, 2012
- Winner will be contacted via e-mail and announced on this blog shortly after.

GOOD LUCK!

This winter my face and back are soo dry. I am breaking out so much on my face...but maybe that's because of all the Christmas chocolate I've been devouring. But seriously, I have red lines and slits on my back from the constant scratching and even my clothes get caught and scrape. And don't even get me started on the chafing! haha thanks for the giveaway! gerlclan@shaw.ca

Winter always leaves my skin a mess. My feet are dry and my legs are the worst. They're so dry they even break out! It happens every year...thankfully all those are covered this time of year, unlike my face, which, thankfully, has not taken much of a beating at all this year! :)

Winter conditions have left my heels a dry, cracking mess. No amount of exfoliating and moisturizing seems to be making much of a difference. Spring & Summer, I miss you!

Our muscles become deflated with age, losing their moisture like a dry sponge. Acupuncture restores the natural internal irrigation so the 'sponge' is plumped up again and the wrinkles disappear. Treatments include addressing the facial muscles directly because the electro-stimulation of the natural electric charge in the muscle re-establishes the natural flow and the charge/discharge cycle. This enlivens the tissue. Fluids can move through as they did in youth. Kathleen's PEMF instrument quickens the process of rebuilding skin and muscle tissue, while improving the face's senses: vision, hearing, brain power, and also alleviating depression, as confirmed in numerous studies!

Imbalances in the kidneys result in bags under the eyes; liver toxicity shows as furrows, hormone imbalance: vertical lines above the mouth; lines along side the mouth show poor digestion. Often herbal medicine, dietary changes and skin care products will be recommended to balance overall health and the appearance of the skin.
