"Formulated exclusively by the Lancome labs, L.U.C.I. particles are able to strongly diffract the light. White, pigment-free L.U.C.I. products transform upon contact with the skin: an ultra-luminous wave is created on the skin surface." (description from MAC site)
Notes about these products:
- the white texture transforms on the skin into a colour wave that shimmers and changes depending on the angle and light.
- each skin reveals its own colour tones
- the interplay of colours comes from the combination of light, skin colour and make-up applied
- on fair skin, the shades look pastel and iridescent
- on darker skin, the shades are more intense and luminous
An eyeshadow duo in a futuristic designed seashell. The white eyeshadow transforms upon contact with the skin and becomes a transparent veil of coloured lights, which diffuses in a myriad of tones: from apricot to pink, from purple to green.

I know they were probably aiming for a futureistic look, but that advertisement looks freaky. They look like siamese twins fromt he future with way too much makeup.
