Product Review: eos Lip Balm Smooth Spheres

Scent Tried: Summer Fruit

I hate using any lip products that come in pots because I dislike using my fingers to apply lip product, especially when I'm on the go. eos has recently launched a new collection of lip balms and I was excited to try them out. I love eos' shaving creams because their packaging is really different from other shaving creams - they have a soft, rubbery package and no metal (no rust) and a simple pump.

Their lip products come in the same soft, rubbery packaging, and they also came up with a very unique design - a round little ball! Let's just say that it's a whole new way to apply lip balm!

To Purr About:
- love that it's USDA certified organic and all-natural
- the scent is fruity, but very light
- the lip balm is almost tasteless, which is nice
- very light and moisturizing
- round shape makes application really quick and easy
- i love the slightly rubbery, soft packaging (same as their shaving cream packaging)
- easy, twist-off top

Claws Out:
- round shape takes up a lot of space in a purse
- not sure how easy it will be to apply once the shape gets a little flatter (I haven't used it enough to use up the "round" shape yet)
- lip balm doesn't stay very long

Final Comments:
This product has lots of "cute" factor, the top is easy to twist off and the lip balm is light and fragrant. I also love what the packaging is made of - it has a soft, slightly rubbery feel. The lip balm is soft and moisturizing, but doesn't have as much staying power as some other lip balms I use. The fragrance and quite light, but nice and the price is very affordable. Once you get use to the round shape of the product, it's really quick and easy to apply (I can apply lip balm to both top and bottom lip at the same time) but I'm not sure what's gioing to happen when the round shape gets used up and it flattens out more.

Final Comments:
I do love trying Canadian made products, so I was stoked to try this one from Oakville, Ontario (very close to where I live).

After using this lotion for many weeks I must say I’ve enjoyed using it. Overall I don’t think it was anything mind blowing, but I think my skin looked better than usual. I would definitely rank it with other department store lotions and moisturizers I’ve tried. I wouldn`t expect any less from the price though.

One major plus was that this lotion absorbed quickly in to my skin, therefore not intruding on make-up application right afterwards.

This is a very cool new summer product that I had to share with all you sun goddesses out there.
It's a simple, easy to use wristband that helps people avoid overexposure in the sun. The wristband actually changes colour at different times depending on the SPF level. It can be used in water (salt water, fresh water, chlorine, etc) and will let you know what it's time to reapply sunscreen or get out of the sun altogether!

Finally! Toronto has some hot, hot, HOT weather! It's about time. So now I'm finally in the mood to do some summer-related posts (better late than never, I guess!)

I know they're supposed to be bad for my feet. And I know that it's not something you should wear everywhere, but I don't care. I still love my flip flops - for hot days hanging around, for the beach, for casual weekends, etc. I have about 5 pairs, all in a range of colours to match what I'm wearing.
