NEW Product Line: NARS Spring 2009 Collection

NARS has recently revealed its Spring 2009 Collection and the colours are lovely - very feminine, with lots of pink and shimmer and glowing complextion - perfect to awaken everyone from the cold, stark winter!

"My inspiration for spring was a very sexy woman," explains François Nars, Founder
and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics. "I wanted a bit of a ‘70s feeling,
somewhere between Guy Bourdin and Chris Von Wangenheim’s photographs—
aggressive, but very sensual and fragile at the same time."

The collection is available on narscosmetics.com starting February 2009.


Blush Duo, $37 USD
Made with smooth, superfine micronized powders for supreme blendability, and infused with radiance reflecting pigments. Plus a bit of glitter, or as Nars calls it, "jewelry for the face." The double compact opens to reveal 1 highlighting and 1 sculpting shade, allowing you to literally shape your desired look.

Duo Concealer, $30 USD
The Duo Concealer palette features 2 complementary shades. "The lighter shade
brings brightness to the eyes," says Nars, "while the darker one can be used to
blend directly with skin tone." The synthetic fragrance-free formula includes
ingredients like turmeric root extract and a vitamin C derivative that helps boost
radiance and brightness, and even out skin tone. Creamy and completely crease-resistant, the Duo Concealer is lightweight but still able to provide smooth, opaque coverage to eradicate skin redness, imperfections, and under-eye shadows.

- Praline/Toffee: medium to dark complexions

Duo Eyeshadow, $32 USD
To celebrate spring’s delicate femininity, NARS introduces 2 new shimmery and frosty hued Duo Eyeshadows to the collection.

Single Eyeshadow, $22 USD
