Product Review: Max Factor ColorGenius Blush

Reviewer: Cinnamon Kitten

Brand: Max Factor
Name: ColorGenius Blush
Size: 0.42 oz / 12 g
Price: approx. $13.00 USD

Shade Tried: Spices

Lightweight pigments help recreate the complex look of beautifully flushed skin. This product also claims to:
- have a shine control formula
- be fragrance free
- be 100% oil free

This blush promies to be expertly coordinated to wotk with your own skin tone.

To Purr About:
- mineral blush is very lightweight
- because there are 3 shades in one compact, it makes it easy to even out the skin tone and to blend this product into a nice "glow"

Claws Out:
- there's no brush included in this compact, so you definitely need your own brush, which is fine, except it isn't very convenient for on-the-go touch ups

Final Comments:
I really like this blush - it's light, easy to blend, and the 3 nice shades make it easy to go light or dark and dramatic. The only thing I would want is a brush to go along with the compact - I know it wouldn't be as good as a real mineral brush, but it would be convenient.

Rating (out of 5):

it's so great that there are so many mineral powders available on the market now instead of being limited to the infomercial 1's.

Where can I get Max Factor in Canada?

Unfortunately, I've just confirmed with my Max Factor contact that this amazing line is no longer being sold in Canada (ARGH!!!)

So, be sure to stock up if you ever head to the US for some cross-border shopping.

Alternately, Drugstore.com sells Max Factor and the last time I checked, they do offer shipping to Canada.
